88 was created with the Vietnamese spirit in mind—resourceful and rooted in making do with what’s available. Using only a glue stick, scissors, and found objects in a temporary home in Saigon, the work reflects a quiet practice of repurposing and care.
It was included in Far–Near’s 2024 Lunar Dragon/Naga Calendar, alongside works by Asian diaspora artists from around the world.
